Greetings garden representatives, gardeners, and community leaders.

  • As a member of the Nominations Committee.

These are elected positions.

A BQLT Nomination Form must be submitted to the BQLT Nominations Committee by the last day of February 2012.

Member of the Board of Directors:

Consists of Member Gardeners and Resource People. One can be nominated to the Board of Director by her or himself, by someone from a garden's membership, or by someone from the community. As a Board member or a Resource person, a sincere desire to move the organization to the highest level of capability is the most important commitment.

Resource persons generally are individuals with particular skills or attributes that can be an enhancement or asset to the board.

Member of the Nominations Committee:

Garden Representatives or Alternates, in the absense of a representative, are the only ones allowed to vote at annual meetings.

Distribution of Nomination Forms:

In December 2011, nomination forms are made available to all BQLT Garden Representatives, Alternates, and the general public. When received, forms should be copied and distributed to the membership of member gardens and community leaders interested in serving as a BQLT Board / Committee member.
